Dragon Ball Super Fusion World: Every Set Ranked by Pack EV

Fusion World is Bandai's 2024 reboot of the Dragon Ball Super Card Game — 12-card packs, 24-pack boxes, and a One Piece-style rarity ladder topped by Secret Rares and SP alternate arts. This page ranks every set we track by rip margin: the gap between what sealed costs and what the cards inside actually return at live TCGPlayer prices, after a roughly 15% haircut for selling fees.

The short version: no Fusion World set currently rips profitably, but the gaps vary a lot. Launch-set Awakened Pulse carries a nostalgia premium that makes it the worst offender, several 2025–26 sets trade boxes far above their loose-pack equivalent, and a couple of sets run close enough to break-even that one hot chase card could flip them. Numbers refresh every two hours — the ranking below is live, not a snapshot.

FAQ

How is Fusion World pack EV calculated?

We take each set's slot model — the estimated odds of every rarity appearing in each pack slot — and multiply those odds by the current TCGPlayer market prices of the cards at each rarity. Summing across slots gives the expected value of one 12-card pack; multiply by 24 for a box.

Why do you subtract about 15% from card values?

Because you can't sell a card for its listed market price and keep all of it. Marketplace commission, payment processing, and shipping eat roughly 15% on TCGPlayer, so we apply that haircut to reflect the cash you'd actually pocket.

How often are prices and EV updated?

Every two hours. All EV figures, margins, and rankings on this site rebuild from a fresh TCGPlayer price snapshot on that cadence.

Are the Fusion World pull rates official?

No. Bandai doesn't publish pull rates for Fusion World. Our slot odds are community estimates aggregated from logged box openings, and we treat them as good approximations rather than guarantees.

If a pack shows positive EV, does that mean I'll profit?

No. EV is a long-run average across many packs. Most of a set's value is concentrated in a few low-probability hits, so single packs and even single boxes routinely return far less than the average. Positive EV improves the gamble; it doesn't remove it.
